This Robo-Mower can cover 3 to 6 acres in 48 Hrs – Sunseeker Elite X9
At CES 2026, Sunseeker made a major move into the professional landscaping sector. Showcasing at the Pepcom Digital Experience, the company debuted its next-generation flagship: the Sunseeker Elite X9 Series. This new line of robotic mowers is engineered to transition the brand from residential convenience to high-demand commercial performance.
Built for the “Professional Big Leagues”
The Elite X9 Series is a significant leap in scale, designed to manage 3 to 6 acres of turf within a 48-hour window. To achieve this, Sunseeker has introduced a sophisticated Fleet Management platform, allowing landscaping teams to deploy multiple units as a coordinated “swarm.” This system optimizes routes and balances workloads across massive sites like corporate campuses and sports fields.

Perception and Autonomy
Sunseeker claims what sets the X9 apart is its “vehicle-grade” intelligence. The mower features the 360° OmniSight system – a suite of 16 sensors, including eight cameras that provides real-time recognition of obstacles, terrain, and wildlife.
-
AONavi™ Technology: Fuses RTK-GNSS with VSLAM 2.0 for centimeter-level positioning.
-
10 TOPS Processing Power: An onboard AI chip ensures the mower continues to navigate accurately even when satellite signals are blocked by dense tree cover or buildings.
-
Animal Safety: Infrared-assisted detection allows for safe operation at night by identifying small animals hidden in the grass.
Difficult Terrain
Standard robotic mowers often struggle with uneven ground, but the X9 is built for “real landscapes.” Its ATC Pro Drive System combines 4-wheel drive, independent suspension, and rear-wheel steering. This architecture enables an industry-leading 42° (90%) climbing capability, ensuring stable, straight lines on slippery or steep slopes.

Precision Cutting to the Edge
One of the most touted innovations is EdgeZero™ technology. Using a side-mounted ToF (Time-of-Flight) camera, the mower can perform “zero-distance” cutting along walls and fences. This eliminates the “missed-edge” zone that typically requires manual weed-whacking. Additionally, the Cut-Before-Turn system ensures each pass is fully completed before the mower pivots, resulting in a cleaner, professional finish.
Rapid Turnaround
To keep the machines in the field, Sunseeker introduced PioneerVolt™ fast charging. The Elite X9 can reach a full charge in approximately 50 minutes, while the high-performance Elite X9 Plus cuts that time down to just 20 minutes.
“The Sunseeker Elite X9 series embodies our commitment to pushing intelligent lawn care to new frontiers,” said Justin Novosel, EVP of Sunseeker. “It combines edge-level accuracy, adaptive perception, and commercial reliability to make large-scale mowing smarter, greener, and truly effortless.”

The Sunseeker Elite X9 Series is expected to hit the U.S. market in Q2 2026.
