LEGO Unveils Ferrari F1 Driver Helmets for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton

The LEGO Group has officially expanded its racing portfolio with the debut of two new display sets: the LEGO Charles Leclerc Ferrari Helmet and the LEGO Lewis Hamilton Ferrari Helmet. Announced during the 2026 Australian Grand Prix, these sets celebrate the Scuderia Ferrari HP duo as they kick off the new Formula 1 season.

Replicating the 2026 Scuderia Ferrari HP Paddock

To celebrate the launch, LEGO Certified Professional Ryan McNaught constructed life-sized 1:1 scale replicas of the helmets. Each display-scale model took roughly 60 hours to complete, utilizing thousands of bricks to match the exact contours of the drivers’ 2025 racing gear.

The retail sets, aimed at adult builders and F1 enthusiasts, focus on the 2025 livery designs. Notably, these sets include the first-ever LEGO minifigures of Leclerc and Hamilton dressed in their official red Ferrari racing suits.

A Tribute to Racing Heritage

According to John Ho, Model Design Master at the LEGO Group, the design process focused on the “unique curves and intricate details” of modern F1 safety gear.

The Charles Leclerc model includes subtle graphic nods to his father, Hervé, and his mentor, Jules Bianchi. Meanwhile, the Lewis Hamilton set captures the bold “Modena Yellow” that has become a staple of his recent personal branding.

While the official global launch is set for May 1, 2026, pre-orders are currently open via the LEGO website and authorized retailers. This launch coincides with a broader push by LEGO to integrate more Formula 1-themed products across its Icons, Technic, and Speed Champions lines.
