Nike and the LEGO Group have announced the latest installment of their multi-year partnership: the Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Collection.

The collaboration includes two distinct products: a wearable Nike Air Max 95 “Big Bubble” sneaker designed for children and a 1,213-piece LEGO brick-built model of the iconic silhouette. Both items are scheduled for a global release on March 28, 2026.

The Wearable Footwear: Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble

The new footwear release focuses on the “Big Bubble” iteration of the Air Max 95. The shoe maintains the classic anatomy-inspired aesthetic of the original 1995 design, featuring a layered upper of breathable mesh and synthetic leather.

A notable design feature in this edition is a visual “optical illusion” technique. The exterior utilizes flat, two-dimensional elements styled to appear three-dimensional, mimicking the look of LEGO brick studs and textures. The shoes will be available in “Little Kids” (Preschool) and “Big Kids” (Grade School) sizing.

The Collectible Set: LEGO Nike Air Max 95 (43025)

Parallel to the footwear, LEGO is launching a detailed building set under its “LEGO Editions” line. The model captures the sneaker’s signature gradient side panels in shades of black and light graphite, accented by Nike’s “Volt” neon yellow.

Key features of the set include:

  • Piece Count: 1,213 pieces.

  • Dimensions: Over 8.5 inches (22 cm) high and 11 inches (28 cm) wide.

  • Accessories: A display stand, a “bubble” logo plate, and a customizable LEGO minifigure wearing a miniature pair of Air Max 95s.

  • Functional Detail: A hidden storage drawer integrated into the base of the display stand.

Partnership Context

This release follows the initial announcement of the Nike and LEGO global partnership in 2025, which has previously produced brick-built versions of the Nike Dunk. According to company representatives, the collaboration is aimed at merging sport heritage with creative play to engage younger consumers.

“The Air Max 95 is a symbol of innovation and cultural significance,” said Federico Begher, SVP of Product Group at the LEGO Group. “This collection honors that legacy by inviting kids to explore its appeal through active and creative play.”
