Virtuix Expands Omni One VR System to European Markets

Virtuix, the developer of the “Omni One” omnidirectional VR treadmill, has officially announced its expansion into the European market. Following a period of significant financial growth and a recent public listing on the Nasdaq, the company is now accepting orders from customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union.

International Launch and Availability

The expansion brings the Omni One to major European markets, including Germany, France, and the UK. To facilitate the rollout, Virtuix has launched dedicated regional storefronts and partnered with Unbound XR, a leading European retailer of extended reality (XR) equipment.

Shipments for European customers are scheduled to begin between April 13 and April 24, 2026. Local fulfillment and logistics will be managed through Unbound XR’s distribution center in the Netherlands to ensure streamlined delivery across the continent.

Pricing and Configurations

European customers can choose between two primary versions of the system:

  • Omni One Core: Targeted at PC VR enthusiasts, this version allows users to connect the treadmill to their existing PC and VR headsets (such as SteamVR-compatible devices).

    • EU Price: €2,995 (including VAT)

    • UK Price: £2,795 (including VAT)

  • Omni One Full Kit: A turnkey “plug-and-play” system that includes a customized Pico 4 Ultra VR headset, removing the need for an external PC.

    • EU Price: Approximately €3,995 (including VAT)

Technical Features and Fitness Benefits

The Omni One allows players to physically walk, run, crouch, and jump in 360 degrees within virtual environments. Unlike traditional VR setups that rely on joystick movement, the Omni One uses a concave, low-friction surface and specialized overshoes to translate physical leg movements into the game.

Key features include:

  • 360-Degree Freedom: A vest-like harness provides stability while allowing for full-body movement without moving from the center of the device.

  • Fitness Integration: The system offers a high-intensity workout, with the company stating users can burn up to 700 calories per hour during gameplay.

  • Compact Design: Designed specifically for home use, the Omni One occupies a smaller footprint than previous commercial models, making it suitable for living rooms or dedicated gaming spaces.

Corporate Growth and Strategy

The move into Europe follows a strong financial year for Virtuix. The company recently debuted on the Nasdaq under the ticker VTIX and reported a 138% year-over-year revenue increase for the six months ending September 30, 2025.

“Europe has long been one of the most active PC gaming markets in the world,” said Jan Goetgeluk, CEO of Virtuix. “Expanding Omni One into the region is a natural next step for us as we look to meet international demand and grow our community of VR players.”

Supported by an $11 million investment and a production capacity of 3,000 units per month, Virtuix aims to capitalize on a European VR market projected to reach over $30 billion by 2032.
