After a monumental eighth season, the Emmy-winning animated phenomenon is returning to Adult Swim with what the network is calling its “most ambitious” chapters yet. Here is a breakdown of the premiere details, where to stream, and what to expect from the upcoming season.

While the linear premiere happens in May, streaming fans will have to wait a bit longer to binge the new episodes on Max.

Michael Ouweleen, President of Adult Swim, teased that the upcoming episodes feature “high-concept insanity” combined with some of the best character writing the series has ever seen. The show continues to be led by executive producer Dan Harmon and showrunner Scott Marder.
