Gemini said LG Electronics Canada Details 2026 OLED TV Lineup and New ‘Sound Suite’ Audio System

TORONTO – LG Electronics Canada has officially announced the Canadian pricing and availability for its 2026 home entertainment lineup, headlined by the new LG OLED evo G6 and C6 series. Alongside the updated displays, the company is introducing the “LG Sound Suite,” a modular wireless audio ecosystem designed to integrate with its premium televisions.

Next-Generation OLED Displays

The 2026 flagship models, the LG OLED evo G6 and C6, are powered by the new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3. This latest chipset focuses on enhancing picture and sound quality through machine learning, supporting features like “Hyper Radiant Colour Technology” and “Brightness Booster Ultimate.”

The LG OLED evo G6 series serves as the premium offering, featuring a flush-to-the-wall design. It will be available in four initial screen sizes: 55, 65, 77, and 83 inches. A 97-inch model is expected to follow at a later date. MSRP for the G6 series starts at $2,999.99 CAD.

The LG OLED evo C6 series offers a broader range of sizes to accommodate different spaces, including 42, 48, 55, 65, 77, and 83-inch options. Aimed at both cinematic viewers and gamers, the C6 includes a 144Hz refresh rate and a 0.1ms response time. Pricing for the C6 series starts at $1,699.99 CAD.

Introduction of LG Sound Suite

A significant addition to the 2026 lineup is the LG Sound Suite, which the company describes as the world’s first sound system powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This technology allows users to place wireless speakers anywhere in a room while the system automatically calibrates the audio to the room’s layout.

The suite consists of several modular components:

  • H7 Soundbar: The flagship audio unit featuring 12 drivers and AI-driven room calibration. ($1,299.99 CAD)

  • M7 & M5 Wireless Speakers: Versatile surround speakers that can function as standalone units or as part of a multi-channel setup. ($599.99 and $399.99 CAD respectively)

  • W7 Wireless Subwoofer: A dedicated low-frequency speaker designed for flexible vertical or horizontal placement. ($899.99 CAD)

Software and Smart Features

All 2026 models will ship with webOS 26, the latest version of LG’s smart TV platform. The update includes a redesigned user interface with personalized “Quick Cards” for easy access to gaming, music, and home office tools. Additionally, the TVs will support both Dolby Atmos and the newly introduced Eclipsa Audio format, an open-source spatial audio alternative.

Pre-orders for the LG 2026 OLED TV lineup are available in Canada starting March 13 through March 26, 2026. Consumers can purchase through LG.ca and authorized retailers, including Best Buy, Costco, Amazon, and Visions Electronics. Shipping is expected to begin in early April.
