Masters of Universe getting it’s own Picture mode on LG TVs as the Creators Intended
LG Electronics has announced a promotional partnership with Prime Video to mark the streaming release of Travis Knight’s live-action film, Masters of the Universe. The collaboration introduces a new display setting called Creator Original Picture Mode alongside a custom voice command for LG Magic Remotes.
What is LG Creator Original Picture Mode?
Debuting exclusively on the 2026 LG OLED evo lineup (W6, G6, and C6 series), Creator Original Picture Mode is designed to allow studios direct control over specific display elements.
While existing display modes like Filmmaker Mode focus primarily on disabling post-processing enhancements (such as motion smoothing), Creator Original Picture Mode actively applies metadata profiles provided directly by content creators.
Key adjustments managed by this mode include:
Shadow detail and tone mapping
Color balance calibration
Targeted noise reduction
Customized motion handling
The feature is driven by LG’s α (Alpha) 11 Processor 4K Gen 3, which uses 12-bit image processing to manage dynamic range and color reproduction. The hardware relies on LG’s self-lit OLED pixel technology alongside standard support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
Interactive Magic Remote Integration
In addition to visual features, LG has integrated a custom voice shortcut into its webOS interface.
Activation Command: Users can speak the phrase “I have the power“ into the LG Magic Remote.
Functionality: The voice input automatically opens Prime Video and pulls up Masters of the Universe, including main feature access and bonus content.
Compatibility: Supported on LG Smart TVs running webOS 23 or later.
Language Support: Includes English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German.
Availability
Masters of the Universe is currently available for streaming globally on Prime Video. The new Creator Original Picture Mode is available on select 2026 LG OLED evo models, while the voice shortcut is live across compatible webOS devices.
