CONTROL Resonant “Altered State” – Everything you need to know!

Remedy Entertainment announced new details for Control Resonant during gamescom Opening Night Live on August 26, 2026, releasing a fresh “Altered State” gameplay trailer and setting digital and physical launch dates.

The action sequel, which puts players in the role of Dylan Faden as he fights through reality-bending encounters using paranatural abilities and different forms of the “Aberrant,” is scheduled for a digital release on September 24, 2026. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will follow on October 15, 2026.

Fashion Collaboration

In addition to the software reveal, Remedy announced a partnership with clothing label ZA/UM Atelier to produce a five-piece, made-to-order apparel collection inspired by the Federal Bureau of Control’s institutional wardrobe. The physical collection is on display at gamescom, with pre-orders open via ZA/UM Atelier.

Release Platforms and Pricing Structure

Control Resonant is self-published by Remedy Entertainment and co-financed/co-produced in a strategic partnership with Annapurna Pictures. The title will support GeForce NOW at launch, with a Mac version scheduled for release via Steam and the App Store later in 2026.

All pre-orders across editions include the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact and the Hiss Corruption Outfit for Dylan, while PlayStation pre-orders also receive an exclusive Occult Outfit.
