BMX is launching “World’s Slimmest Power Bank

BMX (Better Mobile Xperience) brand founded by the veterans behind Hyper, is unveiling a lineup centered on semi solid-state battery technology at CES.

The flagship of the announcement is the SolidSafe Air series. By replacing traditional liquid electrolytes, which are prone to swelling and ignition, with more stable semi solid-state chemistry, BMX claims that’s the reason behind the record-breaking dimensions.

  • World’s Slimmest 5K: The 5,000 mAh model measures just 6.8 mm, making it slimmer than many flagship smartphones.

  • Aero-Grade Build: These power banks feature titanium-copper alloy housings and full-color LCDs for real-time power monitoring.

  • High-Capacity Slims: The range scales up to a 20,000 mAh / 140W model that is touted as the smallest 20K battery on the market.

Beyond the “Air” line, the standard SolidSafe family brings this safer chemistry to heavier workloads, including a 25,000 mAh, 140W laptop-grade battery designed for cooler operation under sustained high-power draw.

GaNsta and ByteSize: AI Charging and Pro-Grade Storage

BMX also expanded into AI-optimized charging and ultra-compact storage:

  • GaNsta™ AI Chargers: This series uses AI-powered power distribution and GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology to minimize size while maximizing efficiency. Available in formats from 45W to 140W, these chargers include optional pixel-matrix displays for real-time wattage readouts.

  • ByteSize™ Micro SSDs: Tailored for mobile creators, these SSDs plug flush into the bottom of USB-C phones. The “ULTRA” models support ProRes 4K60 capture, offer speeds up to 1050 MB/s up to 2TB capacity and integrate Apple Find My and fingerprint security.
