The Stunt Driver Bring Rocket-Powered Thrills to Fan Expo
Moviegoers and daredevil enthusiasts are getting an exclusive preview of one of the fall’s most anticipated Canadian films as The Stunt Driver hits Fan Expo Canada.
Distributed by Mongrel Media ahead of its theatrical debut on September 25, the comedic biopic brings to life the unbelievable true story of Ken “The Mad Canadian” Carter. In the mid-1970s, the world champion stunt driver captured international attention when he attempted the unthinkable: launching a rocket-powered car a mile across the St. Lawrence River.
Get Up Close with the Rocket Car at Booth #1543
Throughout the convention, fans visiting the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (South Building, Level 800, Booth #1543) can inspect the featured rocket car used in the film, snap photos with the vehicle, and snag free promotional giveaways leading up to the movie’s nationwide premiere.
Exclusive Panel with Cast and Crew
The highlight of the showcase takes place on Friday, August 28 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 713AB (Stage).
Attendees can join star Jay Baruchel , co-star Laurence Leboeuf , and acclaimed director Michael Dowse for an exclusive look at the film. The panel will dive into the making of the movie, behind-the-scenes stories, and the legacy of Carter’s high-octane ambition.
