Hearthstone’s Untold Stories of Azeroth’s Most Wanted – Everything you need to know!

Blizzard Entertainment has announced Azeroth’s Most Wanted, a new collection of Class Sets arriving in Hearthstone as part of Patch 36.4. Serving as a narrative prequel to the Escape from Violet Hold expansion, the sets introduce 29 new cards focused on four of Azeroth’s central outlaws and the pursuers who captured them.
The release marks a continuing format change for Hearthstone, with Blizzard confirming that each expansion throughout the year will be followed by a wave of four dedicated Class Sets.
Story-Driven Mechanics and Class Breakdown
The Azeroth’s Most Wanted collection features seven themed cards for four specific classes: Rogue, Warlock, Priest, and Warrior. Each set centers on a specific historical conflict between an outlaw and their captor.
Rogue: Mathias Shaw vs. Vanessa VanCleef
The Rogue Class Set introduces SI:7 leader Mathias Shaw as a card for the first time. The lore focuses on Shaw’s infiltration of the Defias Brotherhood to capture Vanessa VanCleef.

Gameplay Theme: Focuses on stealth mechanics and introduces “Disguised” minions, which can be played on either side of the battlefield.
Warlock: Godfather Kazakus vs. Aya Blackpaw
Revisiting characters from Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, this set covers Kazakus double-crossing Aya Blackpaw during a heist and framing her for the crime.

Gameplay Theme: Incorporates deck-tampering and custom cards. Mechanics include putting “Imp-formants” into opponent decks, setting up a custom sham trial, and placing enemy minions into jail.
Priest: Raith Van Geist vs. Azalina Soulthief
The Priest set details ghost hunter Raith Van Geist tracking down Azalina Soulthief across a haunted mansion in the Witchwood.

Gameplay Theme: Relies heavily on shadow and spirit synergies, deploying waves of Reborn and Deathrattle minions.
Warrior: Captain Darius Crowley vs. Lord Godfrey
This set follows Darius Crowley hiring a crew of pirate cannoneers to lay siege to Shadowfang Keep and apprehend Lord Godfrey.

Card Breakdown and Pricing
Each individual Class Set consists of 7 unique cards (1 Legendary, 2 Epics, 2 Rares, and 2 Commons). Because players receive a full playset of non-legendary cards, each Class Set yields 13 cards total (52 total cards across all four sets).
In addition to individual class releases, players who purchase a full bundle receive a bonus neutral Epic card, Wanted Poster, bringing the total unique card count to 29.
