Video Game Live Expo (VGLX) officially announces its return for 2026. Taking over the International Centre in Mississauga from October 24 to 25, the event promises an immersive, fan-first celebration blending gaming, esports, cosplay, and creator culture.
Following a successful debut last year, organizers are scaling up the experience to deliver a highly interactive sandbox designed for discovery and connection. Tickets for the blockbuster weekend are now available via the official website at VGLX.ca.
“The response to VGLX last year gave us the confidence to scale the experience in a major way for 2026,” said Jason Lepine, CEO of VGLX Shows Inc. and Founder of XP Gaming Inc. “More than ever, I believe gaming communities are hungry for an expo built around play and interactive experiences… That’s what we aim to deliver with VGLX.”
Global Esports Takes Center Stage: TEKKEN 8 & Toronto KOI
Esports fans have massive reasons to look forward to this October. VGLX 2026 will play host to the Electric Clash tournament, an official Challenger Event for the TEKKEN World Tour 2026. Organized by Incendium Gaming, the high-stakes tournament will draw elite international competitors from across the globe, including powerhouse regions like South Korea and the United Kingdom.
In addition to fighting game glory, VGLX is partnering with esports giant OverActive Media for an exclusive look at the future of Call of Duty. Attendees will witness the highly anticipated Toronto KOI 2026–2027 roster reveal live on the main stage, alongside a sneak peek at their brand-new team jersey.
“The introduction of Toronto KOI’s Call of Duty roster and the unveiling of our 2027 jersey mark an important moment for OverActive Media and our fans,” stated Neil Duffy, Chief Commercial Officer at OverActive Media. “We’re proud to partner with VGLX to bring this experience to the main stage at Canada’s premier gaming event.”
Halloween Comes Early with Behaviour Interactive
Perfectly timed just ahead of Halloween, VGLX 2026 is bringing the thrills. Famous Canadian publisher Behaviour Interactive will dominate a portion of the show floor, bringing some of horror gaming’s most iconic and punishing titles to life. Fans of Dead by Daylight, 7 Days to Die, and Darkest Dungeon can expect immersive activations and gameplay experiences tailored for seasoned survivors and dungeon crawlers alike.
Fandom, TCG, and Creator Culture collide
VGLX 2026 isn’t just about watching—it’s about participating. The event floor will feature specialized zones to cater to every facet of gaming fandom:
The Creator Lounge: A dedicated hub for attendees to meet their favorite content creators, online personalities, voice actors, and special guests.
The Collector Corner: Presented by CSC (Canada Super Collectibles), this zone is a haven for trading card game (TCG) enthusiasts and collectors, featuring TCG vendors, GameSwap spaces, and rare memorabilia.
The Indie Zone: Curated by XP Gaming, this dedicated space will spotlight emerging game developers and unique, upcoming indie titles.
Cosplay & Artist Alley: A vibrant showcase of local talent, original merchandise, and stunning fan-crafted cosplay.
Whether you want to play upcoming AAA titles, test your skills in casual board game spaces, or trade rare collectibles, VGLX 2026 is positioning itself as the must-attend gaming event of the fall.
